The projects described here were created by teachers who took a Summer Institute Class at the University of Missouri-Columbia during the summer of 1999. These are outlines of projects that these teachers plan to do during the 1999-2000 school year. They are posted here in the hopes that someone else may want to adjust these ideas and create their own curriculum based project. Although a grade level is suggested, most of these projects can be adapted to different grade levels.

We got ideas for projects from a book called Netlessons: Web-Based Projects For Your Classroom by Laura Parker Roerden (1997, Songline Studios, Inc. and O'Reilly & Associates, Inc.). Here is a summary of the Big 12 types of projects.
