Ten years.

2. What are you doing now?
She is a mentor teacher for Ms.Wiese and Ms.Morley. She also teaches at the University of Missouri.

3. What are your hobbies?
Reading and playing with dogs.

4. Who are the members of your family?
Tom, her husband. Joe and Will (21 and 22), her sons.

5. Do you have any pets?
Yes, Abby and Sophie(14 and 1) her black labs.

6. What is your favorite subject?
Social Studies.

7. Where did you go to college?
University of Missouri.

8. How did you get interested in teaching?
She was a secretary at an Elementary school and got hooked on elementary aged kids.

9. What is a mentor?
Someone who works with new teachers and the mentor teacher teaches also. (Mentors can help other occupations too.)

10. What is it like being a mentor?
She says " It's neat to be in different classrooms, I learn also."

11. What do you enjoy best about teaching?
KIDS!!!

12. How do you feel to be the Teacher of the Month?
She says "I am proud and excited" she is also glad that Mrs.Rackers entered her.
