1.The first step in the process will be deciding what adventurous trip to take.  Spend some time with your group looking at the links below and deciding what you might want to do.  Remember you can do anything anywhere in the United States.  It must be adventurous and involve visits to three different time zones.

2.Now each person in your group should write a one page description of the group's trip. Be sure to be persuasive so that your travel plans will be chosen.

3.Now it is time to plan the trip. First you may want to print a Map and draw your travel path.

4.Now that you know what countries you will be going to it is time to plan your budget. Use the budget sheets to figure out how much this trip will cost. Each group member can do one of the areas and then the group can put them onto the group worksheet. Help each other.

Entertainment and Food

Food-You should plan that each person in your group will spend an average of $20/day on food. Make sure you figure this into your budget.

If you need equipment that is not listed here do not search. Give your teacher a list of items and he/she will give you some web sites to look at. NOTE:  You may want to talk about photography equipment or other equipment as a class to help decide what you need.
